Terms and conditions

Booking & Payments

Payment is expected before the time of the session once confirmation of booking is complete. Unless otherwise agreed upon prior to the sessions starting.

NDIS payments are expected to be paid within 7 days from invoicing.

If you sign the contract for Integrative psychotherapy and/or Counselling with the inclusion of  Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP), General Counselling, or Personal Development, and you agree to go ahead, you have agreed to our cancellation terms.

In addition to scheduled appointments, Pegasus Holistic Healing is to charge the equivalent hourly fee amount on a prorated basis for other professional services that you may require, such as report writing, telephone conversations that last longer than 15 minutes, attendance at meetings or consultations which you have requested, or the time required to perform any other service which you may request.


Cancellation, Changes, and Refund Policy 

Cancellation by Participants:

We respectfully request the following written notification of cancellations.

COVID cancellations will be rescheduled or options forTeleHealth, without any charges.

Individual/Family consultation,n including TeleHealth: 

· 48 hours’ notice, or as per the NDIS Pricing guidelines, rescheduled.

· Less than 48 hours, 100% of the invoiced amount,

Group program sessions: 

· 7 days before the start date will incur an admin fee of $50, or can be transferred to another service or date.

· 2-7 Days 50% of the invoiced amount

· Less than 48 hours, 100% of the invoiced amount,

Block Agreements cancellations: 

· A fee of 1 session will be charged.


By providing appropriate notice to cancel an appointment, helps us to keep your session costs down, maximises our availability to participantsand minimises lost time. Any fees outstanding must be paid before your next scheduled appointment. 

It is important to note that some Third-Party funders do not pay late cancellation or missed appointment fees. These may be your responsibility, even if your treatment is normally funded by a Third Party


If you are late for an appointment, your session may be less than the designated duration. Please note you will need to pay the full amount in these circumstances. 

If you provide us with a contact number or email address, a reminder message will be sent before your appointment. This is a courtesy reminder only, but we may ask you to confirm attendance. If, for any reason, you did not receive a reminder message and missed your appointment, you will still need to pay the late missed appointment fee. If ever in doubt, please feel free to telephone to confirm an appointment.


Changes and Cancellation by Pegasus Holistic Healing

Pegasus Holistic Healing reserves the right to make any reasonable changes to any events, programs, webinars, or consultations, and can cancel, reschedule, or change an event. This can be done for numerous reasons, including not having sufficient registrations that meet the minimum number, adverse weather, or COVID-related reasons. In the event of any changes, a full refund or rescheduling will be offered, and we will attempt to contact you at the earliest opportunity using the contact information supplied by you at the time of booking. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure these details are accurate and to regularly check their emails for any notification of changes.


Terms and Conditions for Participant's/Guardian’s/Third Party Participation

  •    Participants will be required to complete an intake form, risk assessment, and sign an agreement and waiver before starting.
  •    Participants will be required to wear weather-appropriate clothing and closed-in shoes.
  •    Parents/Guardians, Support workers, may be invited into a participant’s session if the Practitioner/client feels it is of benefit to the client; they are to remain in the designated area where they can respond when called if a situation arises.
  •    If a risk of adverse behaviour has been identified during intake, a risk plan must be in place.
  •    Participants will be offered  ‘safety guidelines’ by the practitioner, which support clients in being safe, aware, and making safe choices in all sessions with horses.
  •    Participants agree not to deliberately frighten, hurt, or mistreat the horses or the practitioner and to follow the safety guidelines offered by the practitioner.
  • Participants agree to follow the direction of the practitioner, and that any misconduct or refusal by the participant/guardian/third party to follow any direction of the practitioner can result in exclusion from participation in the activities, and your immediate removal from participation in future sessions will be reviewed or cancelled. You understand that any such non-compliance may result in injury because you fail to comply.
